For each turn, the player is given choices for each character and must choose one of their three commands, which differ depending on the characters. The battles consist of turn-based random encounters, with several boss battles. Upon defeating an enemy, the player will gain experience points and "Faz Tokens", which are used to buy upgrades such as "chips" and "bytes" to aid the player during the game. Many enemy characters can be found throughout the game, each exclusive to their own area, which can be battled with. Initially, the world was depicted in a 2D Atari-like style, but as of Version 1.2 released in May 2016, the world has been redesigned into that of a pre-rendered 3D style. Once new areas are revealed and a special button is pressed in them, the player can use "jumping" to teleport between each area through an overworld map. The gameplay consists of exploring through the game world and accessing new areas. These tips frequently break the fourth wall due to Fredbear's seeming awareness of the situation he is placed in. Along the way, a character known as Fredbear will give the player tips on what to do next. As the player continues, they collect more characters to place in their party, with there being 40 characters available in total from across the first four games. The starter characters, the original and toy versions of the first main games characters, can all be swapped in and out of the party. The player starts by choosing two parties consisting of four characters each. The game also has two difficulty levels to choose from, Normal and Hard. The only scary thing about FNAF World is that we might have missed out on FNAF 5 for this.The player has two modes to play in: Adventure and Fixed Party. Both represent the pinnacle of this horror franchise. If you miss the series, I recommend you return to Five Nights at Freddy's 4 or FNAF 3. I hate to say it, because in theory this is the last game in the series, but FORGET Five Nights at Freddy's World. Is our pestering for Five Nights at Freddy's 5 to blame for this? Unless you lose of course, at which point you just feel that it was because your opponent was over-leveled. The problem is you don’t feel you've won through any skill. Text suddenly appears declaring that "Someone is coming!" and then you are battling a new animatronic. #FNAF WORLD UPDATE 3 DOWNLOAD GAME HOW TO#The icing on this disappointment is how to recruit Freddy, Girl, and company: it is completely random. The designs of the animatronics are ugly, the animation is poor, and there are hardly any secrets or incentives to encourage you to discover what lies ahead. Remember the creepy Halloween Edition FNAF game? Five Nights at Freddy's World is practically identical. But what about the world? Does it at least deserve to be explored? NOPE. The story is confusing, battles are boring. And the only time that it doesn’t work is in the late game or when facing a boss. Everything is limited to "pound that button over and over again". Just spam any skill you want until you win. The other big issue with battles is that there is no strategy. What does this thing do, is it an attack, a healing move, defensive… no one knows! In Five Nights at Freddy's World there are no descriptions for the attacks. It’s a sense of bewilderment that is repeated in the battle system, which in an RPG is everything. Your lack of direction becomes even more frustrating because it is difficult to find glitches and errors, with their visual effects being lost in the environment’s garish stages. The main mission has no clear objective, and offers no guide or plot to justify your actions. The problem is that FNAF World is a disappointment in every way.
